Effect of Bi promoter on the performances of selective oxidation of isobutane to methacrolein over MoVO/AlPO4 catalysts

The effects of Bi on the catalytic performance of selective oxidation of isobutane to methacrolein over MoVO/AlPO4 catalyst were investigated by XRD, FT-Raman, XPS, UV-vis DRS techniques. The results show that the addition of Bi component into the MoVO/AlPO4 catalyst obviously improves the catalytic performance, and the selectivity to methacrolein can increase from 14.2% to 45.1% with the increase of Bi/V molar ratio from 0 to 1. Combining the characterization results with the reaction evaluation, it is concluded that the catalytic activities of the MoV0.3Bix/AlPO4 catalysts are related to the crystalline phase composition and the dispersion of molybdenum and vanadium oxides species in general, and also to the V5+/V4+ molar ratio on the surface in particular.     

化学蒸气发生-电感耦合等离子体原子发射光谱法测定地质样品中痕量金

地质样品经盐酸-硝酸(3+1)混合酸溶解,活性炭分离富集后,于90℃用12g.L-1硼氢化钠溶液(溶于0.5g.L-1氢氧化钠溶液中)作还原剂,用化学蒸气发生-电感耦合等离子体原子发射光谱法测定其中痕量的金。金的质量浓度在1 500μg.L-1以内与其发射强度呈线性关系,方法的检出限(3s)为0.59μg.L-1。方法用于测定2个标准物质(GBW 07289和GBW 07291)中金含量,测定值与认定值相符。     

Two 2D uranyl coordination complexes showing effective photocatalytic degradation of Rhodamine B and mechanism study

Two new hydrostable two-dimensional(2 D) uranyl coordination complexes [(UO_2)_5(μ_3-O)_2(nbca)_2].7 H_2O(1) and [(UO_2)_3(nbca)_2(H_2O)_3]·2 H_2O(2)(H_3 nbca=5-nitro-1,2,3-benzenetricarboxylic acid) were hydrothermal synthesized.Single-crystal structural refinements reveal that both of the two complexes were formed by the packing of 2D uranyl coordination sheets via the hydrogen bonds.The nbca ligand coordinating to the uranyl polyhedron centers constructed the 2D sheets.There are UO_8 hexagonal bipyramids and UO_7 pentagonal bipyramids in 1 while only U07 pentagonal bipyramids in 2.Photocatalytic degradation of rhodamine B(RhB) in aqueous solution was studied.Complex 2 possesses better performance than 1 with 96.2 % of the RhB was degraded in only 60 min.Mechanism studies reveal that the dissolved oxygens are essential to the RhB degradation.The photocurrent density of 2 is more stable than that of 1,which indicating the stronger ability to separate photoexcited electrons and hole pairs of 2.     

Phase state of the polysulfone-poly(ethylene glycol)-dimethylacetamide system

Via the method of turbidity points, a fragment of the phase diagram of the polysulfone-poly(ethylene glycol) 400-dimethylacetamide three-component system was constructed. This system is a unique object with both an upper critical solution temperature and a second-order lower critical solution temperature. Viscosity characteristics and activation parameters of the viscous flow of concentrated and dilute polysulfone solutions in dimethylacetamide containing poly(ethylene glycol) were studied. An abnormal increase in the solution viscosity with temperature that precedes the phase transition was found. With the use of IR spectroscopy and the viscometry of dilute solutions, it was shown that it is possible to form additive compounds between the components in a solution.     

Effects of the laser surface treatment on the mechanical properties of CuZr-based bulk metallic glasses

Surfaces of three types of CuZr-based bulk metallic glasses (BMGs) were modified by laser surface treatment (LST), and the influence of the treatment on structure and mechanical properties of these alloys was investigated. The phase structure of as-cast and laser-treated samples was characterized by XRD and the morphology of the alloys after fracture was examined by SEM. The compressive plasticity of treated Cu47.5Zr47.5Al5 and Cu46.5Zr47.5Al5Co1 BMGs can be improved from 0.5% to 2.0% and from 1.2% to 5.7% respectively compared with the as-cast ones, while (Cu0.55Zr0.40Al0.05)99Er1 BMG shows insignificant change of plasticity. The improvement in plasticity is attributed to induced crystallization of B2 CuZr phase in the treated surface zone of selected metallic glasses.
